I worked at a trucking company when i was 20 and one of the mechanics was driving another coworker home he was speeding and had been drinking he kept a cooler of beers in his car. they got into a wreck the passenger died, he did 9 months

My parents always used to tell me my brother could get away with certain things and I couldnt get away with the same because Im a girl, even though Im older than him. Now their precious boy is the biggest problem they sit with in their life because of favouritism and double standards.

Being called out for being sexist just because I mentioned something about a woman's physical appearance. Well, maybe that's not a double standard exactly, but I don't like it or think it's fair... even though I have corrected myself after being called out.

@ItsMeMorgue Yeah, kind of what he said... but it was intended only as a point of reference. But, like I said I promised to stop describing her that way after it was explained to me that it could be viewed as sexist. But, it seems unfair. Still, I have kept my promise.

@Adogslife Yeah? Because let me tell you, the first thing I knew about you was that you were straight. First thing I know about most people. They can't shut up about "Oh, my wife is going to kill me if I buy this" or "My kids are waiting for me, I have to go". And don't get me started on the ones wearing t-shirts that say things like "World's Greatest Dad/Grandpa/etc."

@AngelUnforgiven I would be banned straight away because it's against the rules to get back once you're banned. The only work around would be creating a new account and pretending to be someone else, but I liked to be myself there and I wouldn't enjoy it as before 😥 I also tried to contact the staff via e-mail and beg for forgiveness, but they haven't replied yet 😩

If youre rich and have cop buddies you can druve drunk, run lights, sky us the limit in what local pigs will let you get away with. If you're working class and just trying to get to work they will harrass you over an inspection sticker or doing 4 mph over

@MethDozer You don't even have to be rich or have cop friends for that to happen. It happened to me once on my way home from graveyard shift working security. I should have gotten the biggest damn speeding ticket of my life, because I was trying to get home before I fell asleep and I was doing 70 in a 35.
To this day I'm actually angry that I wasn't punished for that. Piggy just told me to slow it down.
