I learned today my doc has been more worried than me somehow
2 weeks ago I saw my GP to follow up on the jaw pain I'd had since september/october last year. (At one point it was so bad I ended up in the ER)
He ordered a whole bunch of tests on my blood after taking his time examining my jaw, throat, and face in general.
At the time he told me it was probably just an infection causing my left tonsils to swell up.
Got a follow up appointment for today, and after going over the lab results he said "it's not cancer, luckilly, cause that would have shown up in the tests"
The way he said it made me realize he genuinely considered that a likely diagnosis after the last visit. Glad he didn't tell me at the time.
Bad news is we still don't know what caused it, making it hard to prevent from returning. I'm still not 100% good, but atleast I'm able to eat normally now
