US Healthcare is a joke

I always tell people if I'm not dying or otherwise I'm not doing hospitals or ambulance rides i usually fix myself why?

because a sliced finger from a kitchen mishap that requires three small stitches ( Even with medical insurance) should not run me about $1,500 absolutely ridiculous or them still charging you but saying nothing is wrong the biggest theives in the country and sadly a lot of people are following me. for the average joe we just can't afford to go to hospitals anymore and it will get worse.

There is a lot wrong with our system. On the other hand it is a business and had to cover costs. I tried hard to get figures to find out the actual cost, not billed casts, fir services I provided as an ER physician. The problem is that although ERs, would seem to make money, the overall costs are staggering. They have to spread costs over all visitors.
