11000$ what a ripoff

Thats how much they want for my hospital visit. I spent 8 hours there six of them in absolute agony which they did nothing for. They sent me for imaging but by the time I had a bed in the hallway the pain was gone through some miracle. So basically they want thousands for doing nothing for me. If they think they’re getting a single cent they can dream on.

I was in the hospital a month, with several surgeries, lots of drugs, etc.

My bill was $175,000. They saved my life.

Fortunately my maximum copay was $750.

After, I went to rehab. Then my coverage was denied prematurely, so I had to pay two days on my own, before I could arrange help at home. Those two days cost $900.

@JoyfulSilence I had 28 days of radiation therapy, the hospital/physician charges were $200,000! Medicare paid a fraction of that and my gap insurance made up all but my deductible! But what if i do dnt have insurance? Now the Republicans still want to kill the ACA, cut Medicaid and Medicare!
