What do y’all do when you’re sick? For those of you who have talked to me and gotten to know...

i honestly haven't been sick in 35 years....that was the last time i couldn't work for a day....i've had a sniffle here and there but that's about it

My wife had an autoimmune condition also so it was a struggle not to have her exposed. I can’t even begin to tell you the things we did during Covid along with every cold and flu season. But much like you when she got sick it was mostly comfort measures, treat the symptoms and hope for a quick recovery. Snuggle up and binge watch, positive vibes for a quick healing.

I have veey painful arthritis in my hips, hands and feet. The medication does reduce swelling and stop the pain after a few says. However, the side effects of the medication cause me to bleed, fall asleep and make me very dehydrated. But, ihardly ever complain, and look after my partner, who isn't well, as much as I can. We still have good days and do things in moderation that make us happy, like travel and socialising. Life isn't all bad.

Thankfully I don't have an autoimmune disease but when I get sick I try to take as little medicine as possible and get through it

I drink more fruit juices at such times, and reinforce a distance rule from other people.

I try to distribute it as much.. without keeping it all myself.. it's not wealth that I can keep it all for myself.

well as right now i have a bad infection ,in my teeth ,nose,eye and ear,taking antibiotics ,been in bed a couple days

I sit in my recliner in the living room away from my wife. She has a weak immune system too. I nap, play on my phone and watch videos. Sometimes I read also.
