What do y’all do when you’re sick?

For those of you who have talked to me and gotten to know me know I have an autoimmune disease. Because of the medication I’m on. The immune suppressant drugs lower your immune system. So when I get sick I get really sick. I wash down all the areas I touch so no one else gets sick cough in my elbow or in my shirt. Ugh drink plenty of water and tea so sooth the throat. Cough drops throat spray zink whatever I can do to make it go by quicker and less severer. I like the Mucinex cold and flu pills they have. I also take like a children’s cough medicine at night and the Mucinex throat spray works really great. Then I just wanna snuggle up and watch something right now the walking dead lol. What do ya’ll do?

My wife had an autoimmune condition also so it was a struggle not to have her exposed. I can’t even begin to tell you the things we did during Covid along with every cold and flu season. But much like you when she got sick it was mostly comfort measures, treat the symptoms and hope for a quick recovery. Snuggle up and binge watch, positive vibes for a quick healing.

@SageWanderer yes yes it’s rough when your immune system is compromised. Just takes that much longer to get better

@Sassychick420 Also it is a lot easier for you to get an infection as your natural immunity is compromised. At least with spring around the corner you’ll be less exposed soon.

@SageWanderer yeah a lot of people don’t get that. Even family members who just think I’m being extra about it to start an argument when I’m just stating what needs to be done in order for me to not get sick so often. Ugh
