Anyone with diabetes here? What are your hba1c numbers?

Mine is 12.6

(raises hand) last time I tested in Jan, 6.0. But when I was first diagnosed, it was 12.7. Are you seeing a doctor ?

@bijouxbroussard No not as of now. I am taking strict dietary measures and monitoring my sugar levels. I will go again for Hba1c next month. How come you got it under control from such high levels?

@bill117 I worked with my doctor. She put me on medication and sent me to classes to learn how to monitor my blood sugar, regulate diet and exercise, and as a result I did lose weight, and right now it’s balanced. I’m t2 but diabetes is hereditary in my family so I take nothing for granted.
