Like any vaccine, the Covid primes the immune system so it can mount a stronger and more rapid response when it next encounters the proteins formed by the mRNA; AKA proteins on the Covid virus. The mRNA and the spike proteins are flushed from the system in a few days. Only the immune system cells persist.
However, for the Covid vaccines, the positives VASTLY outweigh the negatives. I can give you facts and figures on this, and probably have done so in the past, but you'll likely ignore them.
does it stay in the injection site as stated it would? Does it just appear when the covid virus (whatever version) makes an appearance and then goes dormant? Has the spike protein passed the blood brain barrier? Are there any negatives to this mrna experiment? And how is inducing a reaction with a spike protein not changing your genomic structure?

Because it's changing the immune system. Just like a mosquito bite or inhaling pollen or any other allergen changes your immune system such that your immune system can mount a more rapid response.
