Now there is a 4th Covid booster shot available in Australia

Not mandatory. I think I will give this one a miss.
the side effects from the second shot were actually worse than covid itself. so, im gonna pass.

@YourMomsSecretCrush Eh... my mom had something like that, but without the fever. Plus it was only one day. I guess it all depends on the person. Myself, I got an infected lymph node, which led to the diagnosis of breast cancer, which most likely would have gone undetected, since I'm a little different from 99% of breast cancer patients, LOL.
Similar thing happened to my dad with squamous cell skin cancer. Hope you were able to get rid of the cancer. Cancer sucks. Had melanoma about 20 years ago and had a chunk cut out of my leg. @LordShadowfire

@YourMomsSecretCrush Well, thanks to that lymph node, they caught it in stage 1A, and cut it out. Went through radiation just in case, but it be gone.

In Australia the legal definition of 'fully vaccinated' is only 'two doses'. I've never and will never get any Covid vax jabs. Fuck that shit.

And you're proud of being a complete piece of shit.

Indeed! There's literally no medication or vaccine I would take to put your mind at ease. Take care, be good, stay safe, wear a condom.

@LordShadowfire I made my own personal choice which is fully lawful. I am happy with my choice. Remember the vaccines are not and do not do anything to stop/prevent/reduce covid in the community.
They can keep it... I'm still not right after #3...

@HootyTheNightOwl It took me a couple months to get over the second shot.
@hunkalove I'm "mostly right", but my monthly cycle has never been the same since #2 and #3 just about killed it.

I'm worried that #4 will make me menopausal. I am in the "Get the shot, no matter what" brigade, but I don't feel safe now that they outsourced it to pharmacies. I need the 15 minute monitored wait time after the shot because it does bring on an episode in me - to the point where I was asked by a monitor at doses #2 and #3 if I was okay, so it's obviously noticeable to strangers that I've never met before and who don't know about my medical health.

Seems like the older I get, the less I tolerate injections because I nearly collapsed getting blood drawn for some blood tests.

I have had 5 now, the most recent one being the bivalent booster that targets Omicron.
I did not have any side effects from the last 3 jabs.
I wish they would hurry up and give us a nasal vaccine. They are supposed to be better at blocking transmission, not just warding off severe illness.

Hey, Gusdude! Daglish railway station in Perth was a featured article and photo on Wikipedia on October 9. It's still there but you have to scroll down a ways.
It was available months ago by us. I had it but I know people who had it and caught one of the CovID varients

I’ve had three shot and I still got Covid
Gusman · 61-69, M
@MonaReeves86 I have had 4 shots and not got Covid. 🙂

Do you normally get an annual flu shot?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User I have for the last decade.
No ill effects, no flu
SW-User
@Gusman so why would you not do the same with other vaccines, e.g., Covid?

I can't afford to do the same. I wish other people weren't being selfish about it.
