Is covid back near where you are?

I was supposed to go to a party tonight for somebody's birthday but somebody in her house tested positive for coronavirus today. So no party.
I live in a "hotspot".

But I'm not the least bit surprised. Many of my friends that passed from Covid told me in the past that "It is just a myth that the government uses to control you", then they got sick, went on ventilators and a month or two later they died. Even my family doctor died from Covid related complications.

I do miss my doctor; he was such a cool and knowledgeable guy. And I miss a couple of others as well.... but to the rest I would say... "But it is just a myth"

@Threepio remdesivir death (organ failure complications)

@InHeaven Sadly it is treatable with non lethal medicines or practices. Sadly those procedures were not followed and many people died needlessly. Then they came out with the useless vaxes which will soon kill more people than the virus.

Only among the vaxed. The unvaxed are all healthy while the vaxed are quite sick.

It never left. In fact I'd say more people are getting it because they dispensed with most measures in this country...which I agree with.

I tested positive for the first time yesterday.

I don't know that it ever went anywhere. What's reported or not reported affects how things are perceived. The availability of home test most likely skewed the number of cases reported, and then there's people like me who had it (at least once) and never bothered going to the dr or getting tested .

I made a supply run this week. One of the salesmen where I went was out with covid, second time I believe. The salesman who waited on me has had it twice as well. It's definitely still showing up, many of us just aren't concerned with it now.

@TexChik I have been vaxed and I haven't gotten covid.

@TexChik If I did have covid it was so mild I didn't notice it.

Never left. I've never got jabbed for Covid and never intend to. Same for regular flu.

Had someone at work test positive last week. And I picked it up this weekend. 😞

When everything is returned to normal, the inhabitants forget the virus still exists.

No. It seemed to spike last month and then die away.
