How long does the flu last for you?

The normal flu is a corona. It is often confused with covid. I rarely get the flu. Usually over it in a few days just like the round I had with covid.

About a week

Most of the time if I even get it I only feel sick for one day. The worst was the beginning of 2020 when I had it or covid and was out for three days.

Usually 2 or 3 weeks quite badly and a few months with minor sniffles, muscle pain and fatigue afterwards.

Zero days. I do not get seasonal flus (knock on wood)

A couple of days. But I rarely get sick.

the answer is, it depends. each strain of flu virus is different, and there is anti-viral medication available if caught early enough. the acute effects are usually only a couple of days, but there can be some longer term effects lasting a couple of weeks.

I've never had the flu

I had a terrible flu that landed me in the hospital. It lasted about 7 days. I hope to never repeat that ever again for the rest of my life.

What I call flu lasts from 2 to 10 days, which is usually when I go to the doctor to find out if it IS flu, or something else.

I don't think I've ever had flu in my life. I rarely gets colds, either.

I never get the flu (knock wood) because I always get a flu shot.

Last time I had the flu, it lasted maybe 4 days.

I rarely have it but when I do, about 3-5 days
