Nope. In the USA there's only ONE type of mouse that is the PRIMARY carrier of the virus, and that's the DEER mouse. OTHER wild rodents that CAN carry it are the white-footed mouse, the RICE rat, and the Cotton rat.
Populations MOST at risk are Native Americans and homeless people. Native Americans who often live on tribal land, in rooms with open doorways can breathe the dust that blows in, which MIGHT contain dust from the dried spoor of the deer mice. Large outbreaks are typically found in these communities.

Stop making the Democrats salivate 🤤
Alyosha · 36-40, M
Are you reading the tabloids?
Sutten · 41-45, F
No, it's been around for years and doesn't spread easily between people.
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
Hell no
CurrentName · 51-55, M
Depends on how hard they Hunt-tha-virus.
Get it?
Nothing?

Nothing?
That sort of sparked then fizzled out…they couldn’t pull the same shit they did with Covid.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@soar2newhighs It did NOT "sort of... fizzle out".
It was stopped in its tracks by proper, prompt action.
Unlike SARS-Covid-19, which was already on its world tour before anyone realised it and could act against it (despite the pro-disease lobby trying to prevent any such action) the Hantavirus outbreak was confined, identified very rapidly and stopped in its tracks.
It does NOT mean these diseases have disappeared. Either of them could break out again if allowed, just as any disease can.

No the lethality is too high. Like did nobody learn some basic shit about how this works during the COVID pandemic?
Alyosha · 36-40, M
@CountScrofula Can I have some of whatever you're on?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Alyosha How about you make a point? Diseases can't go pandemic if they kill people too fast.
No.
Nightwings · F
Nah I doubt it, sometimes there are outbreaks but it never really gets out of control. I think we just pay more attention this stuff nowadays because of covid.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Nightwings It deosn't get out of control thanks only to it being controlled.
Nightwings · F
@ArishMell Yes, just like many other viruses lol. The reason covid got out of control wasn't for the lack of trying, it just happened to spread extremely easily.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
More like monkey pox than covid
Holden · 31-35, M
Nah. Just more media fearmongering.
Musicman · 61-69, M
It depends on how desperate the Democrats are to get back in office. If they are desperate then yes. If the Republicans have anything to say about it then no.
@Musicman you can always rely on a MAGAt to say the dumbest 💩
Musicman · 61-69, M
@SnickersDOM A nice pandemic would force wholesale mail in ballots. That would allow the Democrats to sweep the House, Senate and take the Presidency. Nothing like a little cheating to secure a win.
