They were done to try to stem the tide, and survive it.

Had we had a Chief Executive who'd gotten behind "his" own vaccines, and had a consistent message, and listened to the actual experts, we'd have many fewer graves.

@CountScrofula It became an overreach of authority by some. Mask and vaccine mandates. Inflated covid numbers and deaths. Shutting businesses down and fining them if they opened.

@gol979 who would be that Mr lockdown because Trump never locked down anything that was individual states the governors of those States. And the states that stayed locked down the longest if they were locked down were Democrat controlled States.
