Its a wonder, with how they keep changing the procedure, that anyone survives. Still got to do a round of compressions and breaths (breathing for the victim is optional now ) if the AED fires.

@TexChik I know. I've been doing CPR refreshers for about 15 years now. And it changes every year .
Plus I did mention before that we were told to stick to just chest compressions .

{@butter64] i work in the n.h.s and we have a mandatory refresher on c.p.r every year

@Butter64 CPR is not recommended when the person has a chronic disease because it will do too much physical damage to the person's body. It is OK in some accident cases, depending on the extent of the injury.
