Anyone ever try CBD cream for pain?

I have TMJ so I get jaw muscle pain often. Some days its mild, other days I need to lay down 2 to 3 hours its so bad. I remember trying a CBD cream once years ago on the jaw area, and it felt better! Does it work for you? Should I buy one of the creams at CVS?

lots of people say it does, but not for me. i use a capsicum cream on my jaw joint for TMJ and trigeminal neuralgia. gotta start out with a small amount and build up, in case you're hyper-sensitive to it, but it's been a miracle treatment for me

@Baybreeze any drug store, but may be cheaper online. i use Zostrix but you can find a few different brands

I haven’t. Have you tried moist heat for the tmj? It’s the only thing that helps mine. I use the brand Bed Buddy and the eye looking one fits perfectly along the jaw/ear.

Sorry, I thought you meant jaw alignment. Mine is slight off, but it’s not visible by any means. I have spinal stuff and other stuff too. You get used it to, I’m sure you know that unfortunately.

@MellyMel22 Mine is not visible either, it just causes popping sounds, and vertigo. Its been debilitating for a year. I hope it starts to more align soon..said online it can take a year and a half. Im sorry about the spinal issues Mel. I hope they find more treatment.

My wife has used it. It doesn't have much of an effect. Delta-8 THC is a lot better. We get it in stick form, like deodorant which is much easier to apply than cream.

@Baybreeze It does help with pain. She mainly uses it on her legs but there's no reason you couldn't use it on your face, although you probably want to keep it away from your eyes. You can also contact Humble Alternative and ask them.

I use it on my joints, especially my fingers, when the arthritis flares up. It may be more expensive but I buy mine at a CBD store that has knowledgeable owners. They use the products themselves for much the same reason.

@Baybreeze I’m not sure as I try to support local business and feel better talking to people I consider knowledgeable. More than likely it might be rhe same stuff and worth a try in my opinion.

My brother in law is a dentist. He treats TMJ in conjunction with massage therapist. He provides the splint therapy and writes for any meds needed and the therapist works on the affected muscles intra orally and extra orally. He says he has great success.

I did try something called Hempvana. It was ok. I think icy hot cream from Walmart works a lot better.
