I Am Gaining Weight

It's such a pain!
Everytime I exersise I just put on weight and get bigger, all I want is to be healthy.

Why is that so hard?

Sometimes it can take up to a month for your metabolism to adjust. But, if you're not seeinf results, just keep thinking about what you could be doing wrong.

When you exercise, you burn energy. That makes you hungrier, so you can easily overeat.

The only way you put on weight is if you eat more calories than you burn.

It's paramount that you keep track of your calorie intake and output. It should be a 15%-25% deficit, from your BMR x activity equation.

If you don't track your calories, you've already failed.
Just tone up your body. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if you weigh more it doesn't mean it's bad

Gaining weight from working out happens. Muscle is more dense than fat so you will notice your body being more toned, but you might gain a bit of weight because of it. Dont look at the scale too much and rather focus on how your body feels and adjusts to the new lifestyle.

How much weight do you mean? It's quite possible that it's only fluid, aka "water weight". :)
