Do women ever eat fruit?

My wife does the shopping. She buys all kinds of fruit because my son and I love it. Apples, Pears, Bananas, Strawberries, Kiwi are always here, but I never see her eat it ever. Not sure why that is. I have asked her a couple of times why and she doesn't answer.
Is that strange, or do women not eat fruit?
Why would she not want to eat it?

@SunshineGirl If you ever get the chance to try banana pudding/trifle, it's amazing. My aunt used to make it, it vanilla pudding, banana pudding, cool whip, cinnamon, Nilla cookies all layered together, with fresh bananas on top. It was the most delicious dessert ever!
