Do women ever eat fruit?

My wife does the shopping. She buys all kinds of fruit because my son and I love it. Apples, Pears, Bananas, Strawberries, Kiwi are always here, but I never see her eat it ever. Not sure why that is. I have asked her a couple of times why and she doesn't answer.
Is that strange, or do women not eat fruit?
Why would she not want to eat it?

I think many eat fruit.. including myself. Although I do need to get more into my diet overall, or veggies too.
I know some people, recently due to issues of sugar or carbs, refrain from fruit. My sister said the comedian Kevin Hart recently said he doesn't eat fruit Bec of the sugar/carbs. But the body NEEDS SOME CARBS, and those are all natural. The antioxidants factor and vitamin surely override that in my opinion.

@Coralmist There is a massive difference between the unrefined sugar of raw fruit and carbohydrates derived from processed food. Although some diabetics may need to restrict intake, the vast majority of us will be less healthy from not eating fruit.

@SunshineGirl Right there's mostly all positives to eating fruit! With yes diabetes being an exception. My sister can't eat pineapple or grapes, they would raise her sugar too much

@Coralmist Fruit is a really efficient way of getting loads of vitamin C and fibre into your diet.
