I wish i could eat tomatoes by themselves but the taste just sucks

Yeah, I've never cared for tomatoes. I can eat them in real small portions, like diced, and mixed up with a bunch of other ingredients to where you don't even taste them. But I don't want any tomato slices in a sandwich or wedged in a salad.

I am the same way. I can eat tomatoes things like salsa etc, but all by themselves I can't stand the taste or texture.

I eat tomatoes like apples. I also like to pickle them with garlic. Very delicious.

Go to your local farmer's market and get a true vine ripened tomato, the full flavor of them will surprise you how good they are.
