I've been eating more

So one OF the things my therapist suggested when Joel joined us during my last session were ways to get me to eat that wouldn't trigger my my PTSD. He said the trigger is me sitting at the table and my outbursts

So he wants me to try different places for eating that won't be so triggering. Like when we did the hotdog roast over the fire. I eat 2 of them and 2 s'mores. He also suggested doing dinner picnic style and everyone sitting on the floor. Or even standing by or near the table while eating. Or even sitting on the couch while eating.

So we are trying a picnic style dinner tonight. We doing sub sandwiches, chips, fruit salad and s'mores. Hopefully we can do this outside but they are calling for rain so we'll see.

Plus I've been having a couple of meal replacements drinks every day so that's really been helping me

Your therapist sounds like a wise man and you sound like you’re on the right track!

It also strikes me that even your children can learn something valuable from this situation. That all human beings have problems but can solve them through perseverance and hard work. An invaluable lesson as they move forward in life.
A picnic style dinner could be fun, too... even if it does mean that you have to lay a blanket on the ground to sit on.

You could even take it outside on nice days, too - if that's not too stimulating for you.
I'm proud of you. :)
