New issue my doctor doesn't seem to care about

I've struggled with PTSD eating disorders most of my life. Long story but it has getting better. But for the past few weeks I get this horrible pain and pressure when ever I eat. It gets so bad I have to make myself throw up. I had an appointment with a doctor, after my er visit over the weekend. Not my normal one he was out sick, this doctor had no understanding of my tourettes, he pretty much blew me off saying I should take some heartburn pills and drink more water. This is not heartburn. I don't know what it is but I haven't had pain like this before. I've barely eaten anything in a week. I can't keep going like this.

As someone who has had peptic ulcers recently, (three of them), after taking too much ibuprofen for the pain of a broken tooth), I can tell you that you MUST get some Omeprazole, and take it daily for a while. (Usually 10 days). It will shut off the overproduction of acid in your stomach, and return your stomach to a more normal acid producing state. Omeprazole is an over the counter drug.

If you don't eat, your stomach will begin to eat itself. You might even have ulcers right now.

Start small, with oatmeal. Eat one or two teaspoons of it. Then take the omeprazole.

@4meAndyou just had a broken tooth myself. Finally got it yanked

@Slade Because of insurance not having enough dentists or yankers available, I had to wait almost 3 weeks with that pain, which is how I learned about the ibuprofen being the only thing I could do. It WRECKED my stomach.

@4meAndyou took me about 3 weeks too. Had to wait for the periodontist

@Slade My insurance had no available oral surgeons, and no available endodontists. I had to go out of network, and they ended up denying my claims. I appealed, and now the oral surgeon claim has been approved, but they still haven't paid me back, and it's been 9 months.
