I went on a massive walk today
I walked 45 minutes to Subway two suburbs over to have lunch, then walked back to my volunteer job another two suburbs back (I live in the same suburb as my volunteer job, just on the outer edge while the job is pretty central), and then home. The first part took me 45 minutes, the second part took me about an hour (it was just under, but not by much), and then about 10-15 minutes for the last part. It's been a warm day today, threatening to rain but never doing so, and I wore my bomber jacket (it was to keep me warm in the rain I thought would happen) so got a bit sweaty about halfway through. I left at 10:45am and got home at 1:30pm (I spent 45 minutes at my volunteer job cooling down before walking home). Amazingly, except for a small portion of steeper-than-the-rest hill just after the middle of the second part of the walk, I didn't need to stop to catch my breath at all. I wonder if that means I'm getting a bit fitter now.
