Do you find it flattering or insulting when an ex tries to get with you again?

I'm on very good terms with [most of] my "exes". I still like them very much. We exchange letters, we speak on the phone, and sometimes we meet in person. Nothing is impossible, in that context.

My ex-wife a nurse during our 10-year two children marriage. Divorced me during the 11th year because she told me we need a divorce so she could be with her soul mate the doctor she worked with. She asked me three-years post-divorce if I wanted to get back together once the doctor broke up with her.

I replied, "Hell no I would rather slam my penis repeatedly in my car door before I ever thought of that shit".

Partly flattering, partly embarrassing on their part. My last ex once messaged me asking if I was as heartbroken as he was and begging me to get back together while I was busy sucking the dick of his best friend who he accused me of cheating with

It happened with my highschool gf. I was annoyed because I was already talking to someone else lol. And where was this energy when we were together? She acted like I was an annoyance when we were together.

Would really depend on the ex. Like some people might have good intentions but others might just see someone as another opportunity to get laid and nothing else

I would find it flattering, I have tried to get back with a couple of ex’s but they weren’t into it.

It’s always depended on the ex but for the most part I don’t revisit old relationships for any reason

i could possibly see that working out it just hasn’t happened with the three i had been serious with.

There’s only one ex that I’d be curious over how I’d handle it if she wanted me back. My hope is I’d respect myself enough to tell her hell no and walk away.

At first flattered but as I grew older annoyed. I’m friends with all my exes, but we broke up for a reason, so I don’t go back.

I find it annoying that my son's ex-girlfriend keeps pestering with her complaints, drama, and tales of woe

I guess it's flattering but yet I didn't go back to him even though I knew he wanted me, he showed me who he was when it ended and I wasn't interested in getting back involved with him
