So LADIES, what is the difference between your boyfriend/husband being on Tinder, and you being on SW complaining about it?

I asked this on just such a SW post and got blocked. 🤣

Looks like you struck a nerve with someone truth hurts 🤷🏾‍♂💯

Tinder and SW are hardly comparable.

My wife knows about my activity here, and sometimes I mention things I have read here.

I hardly think someone looking to cheat on Tinder would do the same
@Handfull1 More common sense than wise. The so-called 'reward' that most women have to offer is not worth the fickleness, the deceit, the treachery, or the aggravation that comes with it.
The only thing I ever wanted or needed from a woman was to allow me to care for her, satisfy her, and make her happy. Since you can't make them happy and they are never satisfied, it makes sense to eliminate the the above and make myself content and insouciant.

@SmileOnYourBrother you’re right, not wise! It takes two to make a relationship work. And compromise. Most of your posts show little of that. I’m sorry your past relationships and perspective have left you bitter towards women. You’re doing the same thing against women that you don’t want against men. As long as you’re happy, I guess it’s all that matters. If not, look within! ✌🏼☮

From what I've read and heard, Tinder is a dating...'hook-up' sort of site. Similar Worlds is definitely not advertised that way, and is surely one where many people "complain" and vent.

That is the difference I see. 🤷
Piper · 61-69, F
@SmileOnYourBrother It is two separate words, no matter what you found on Google.
@Piper Whatever you say, leibeschön. 😘
Are we using different similar worlds? I don’t understand the comparison.
My husband knows I’m here and doesn’t mind, I doubt he’d feel the same about tinder.

@SmileOnYourBrother there’s a million reasons people do. Some people are just nasty in general. Often, more is involved than just that. Marriage takes two. One maybe doesn’t cheat conventionally but there’s a million ways to withhold the love and attention the other deserves.

SW is not the same as Tinder. The purpose of SW is not dating. The purpose of Tinder is. Yes I agree this website has a nasty side to it , but not everyone will engage in those things here.
@SW-User Nor will everyone engage in those things on Tinder. 🤷

@SmileOnYourBrother Why are they on Tinder for then 😆 it’s the main purpose of that app, a dating app.
@SW-User I'm sure you notice the stampede of sleazy guys who will pounce on what they perceive to be a vulnerable woman on SW. And the woman usually expects and loves the attention.
I don't see the difference. 🙂

Maybe they are not cheating here?
My ex went on dating sites,I came here, never cheated
So,I guess if you are going to cheat you got to expect being complained about??
LadyJ · F
I'm guessing theres less chance of coming across your husband on SW than tinder thats the difference 🤣
@LadyJ 😂🤣😂 Probably true.
Frostcloud · F
? well one is cheating and one is venting about being cheated on
@Frostcloud
so only single people can use social media?
I never said that. I SAID that IMO anyone in a romantic relationship and on social media is cheating in some way, shape , or form.

Tinder is social media. And how do we know the Tinder cheater isn't just venting?
Frostcloud · F
@SmileOnYourBrother well if being in a relationship and using social media is cheating, then only single people should use social media. because people shouldnt cheat.

and yes tinder is social media, i just mean it was specifically designed for relationships, and if youre using that specifically then it is cheating. but the majority of social media is for self expression and to keep in contact with loved ones. people posting on sw to speak on their grief, depression, or even just the walk they took in the park, arent looking to be hit up by weird strangers
@Frostcloud Okay. Thank you for your input.
Personally, I see no difference if a man is on one social site and a woman is on another.
I'm single thankfully

That's like asking the difference between going to a brothel and going to a bar
@SmileOnYourBrother interestingly she can be quite lady like. Just to clarify, I don’t equate this to Tinder.
@notladylikeshubby Just trying to make a point here. Nothing personal. I have no doubt she and many internet women can be quite lady like.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@SmileOnYourBrother What is lady like anyway?
