Potentially yes. If you meet someone make sure it’s in a public place with lots of other folk around just in case you need help. You could also take a friend you trust with you 🙂

I've never done it but if I did I would get some sort of proof of who they are before and as @Matt85 above says, in a public place.

Not at all. I had great success. The women were all cool. I simply chose breakfast dates. That way you get to know each other and they don’t feel the unnecessary pressure of an evening date. Afterwords we’d just take a walk along the harbor and chat.

I've never used a dating site personally but before meeting anyone in person I would want to have communicated first via Zoom or WhatsApp - particularly if I was a female.

I'd never even consider posting on one let alone meeting someone from one. Way too much lying and faking online to use it as a basis of a serious relationship unless there's a connection that's been established over years and years, gradually progressing to calls, video etc before meeting, in my opinion.

Stay safe while online dating by checking out the person's social media profiles, video chatting with them before you meet in person, and telling a friend where you're going and who you're with.

not all the time. but it is always the best move to get to know her or him well before the actual meeting. ask as many questions as possible, re-check if the information shared are consistent or not, if everything looks right then proceed to meet up. Remember, meeting a stranger from dating site is equally dangerous for men and women.
