Racism is hard and complicated, I think people are afraid to have actually conversation about race. I also don't agree with racist science in the sense that other races are inferior to the white race, I called it Social Science.

Marx wasn't the first socialist.
Robert Owen, Piere Proudhon and many others preceded him.
Marxism isn't the only form of socialism.

I'm just going quote someone...."the past is a foreign country, they do things differently there"

Probably, if you are judging him by contemporary standards. Along with Charles Dickens, Benjamin Disraeli, and Queen Victoria.

The first socialist was allegedly* Jesus, not Marx 😜
* Assuming he truly lived
The new testament is quite a socialist handbook

@Northwest Europeans, was Marx, the first Socialist, actually racist, according to online reports of what he said about blacks and others?

Explain how Europeans might judge him differently from the rest of the world? Someone is "racist" or "not racist" universally not based on a geographical location, not to mention that there is no such thing as a "European" opinion.
Marx devoted himself to class struggle, and whatever he said in his personal correspondence, about race and rave relations, must be taken within the context of the mid to late 19th century.
Regardless, Marxism is a theory that proved wrong when put to practice, and ended up causing hundreds of millions of deaths, of the same group it wanted to liberate, when put to practice.

Socialism existed for thousands of years before Marx 🙄
