Not because of their race or ethnicity. I’ve experienced that and wouldn’t visit it upon others. But when people say they believe a certain way politically in my country, experience has taught me to be guarded.

All are welcome and I have friends from all backgrounds you mentioned. Those that feel the way you’ve described are ignorant, poorly educated and gullible persons that respond to propaganda. I feel they are the minority but are loud. Also on this and other platforms more of these entities are BOTS than a lot of people realize.

In real life, the ratio of serious jerks per 100 population is about 5. On the net it's much higher.

Once someone has proved to be racist, bigoted or just plain nasty, I block them. They have nothing to say that I care to hear:

Yes there are a few racists on here, but not that many. The Muslim haters usually do not know shit about Islam as a religion.
The vast majority of users is open-minded and considers people from different cultures to be an enrichment, not a threat.

I’m a Christian, but not from a Christian family incidentally.
One of my team at work was a Sunni Muslim. We shared a lot about our faiths. But in her culture she had to take time off work to look after her son. Even though there were men in the house at home!
Her sister in law was going through divorce and was isolated by her community.

Do you fear isolation.

Yes there is a lot of intolerance on here, but not from everyone.

I have travelled widely in my life, both for personal and professional reasons, and I can only say that meeting and interacting with people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds has only ever been an enriching experience.
