When a person is found to be in the country illegally
This is going happen on the bus?
It doesn't look like you have a working knowledge of the Constitution. The idea here is to make sure that the charge is valid, before punishment is doled out. It's a pretty cool concept, called "due process". If you ever visit the USA, you should learn about it.

Sooooo no due process? Detention centers exist bc people are awaiting their court date. Imagine being detained by agents of the state and just immediately being sent to Mexico just bc you dont have your birth certificate on you.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@BlueVeins to add to this - most Republics operate under the maxim "innocent until proven guilty".
Republicans want "guilty until proven innocent" on the basis of skin colour.

BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@BlueVeins the Constitution/Law should be changed so that ANYONE that doesn't abide by 'due process' to get into the country, shouldn't be allowed to invoke it to stay in ... it's not Rocket Science
or
The administration should give an amnesty to all providing they vote Republican, the Hypocrats will then INSTANTLY want them ALL removed, even bypassing this 'due process' nonsense to facilitate their removal

What about due process? ICE is picking up US citizens by mistake. But if you wouldn't mind being shipped to Sudan or El Salvador yourself to save money, at least that would be consistent.
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@LeopoldBloom Uh huh. When it's in your interest, due process and the law is sacred.
Flaunting Federal immigration law and setting up "sanctuary cities" is against the law and constitution as well.
Perhaps if the knuckleheads running Minnesota followed immigration laws we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

The real problem with ICE detention centers is that they are not detention centers. They are former warehouses for materials (not humans) now being used for internment of humans instead of detention.
Based on evidence before our eyes, the federal government currently being run by obsessively incompetent people are not able to determine who is legal and illegal. So, your idea can't work.

And here is your problem. "When a person is found to be in the country illegally," These people have not yet been found to be in the country illegally. They just LOOK DIFFERENT. The system cant process them..😷

Wow why didn't they think of that

@CountScrofula Bobby Big Brains out here solving world problems. Next we can address lack of adequate medical care by just not having medical care anymore.

@basilfawlty89 Let's take 10 million people from 3.8 million square miles of land and just ilke, put them on busses and drop them off in Juarez. Then you won't have to deal with them anymore! They just like, go away and its fine.

'ICE is holding people for immigration violations at great expense and much controversy. Why?'
Because it's a grift obviously , just like everything else this administration does. $92m for potties.

... the 'grift' is the Hypocrats opening the floodgates and then telling them ALL, "if you don't vote for us, you'll be sent back"

And how do you find out if a person is staying in a country illegally without investigation and judicial process? 🤔
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@SunshineGirl Maybe they should have a designating symbol...or patch on them..like a yellow star or something...😉
Jake966 · 56-60, M
What about the time it takes to verify they are who they are and verifying the country they came from ?
4meAndyou · F
BigGuy2 has the right idea. Grant amnesty to any illegal who will vote Republican, and then sit back and watch Democrat/Socialists heads spin 360* and they will begin to fight like hell to get RID of them.
