Apparently, the migrants all signed consent forms to be transported to Massachusetts. With Democrats weaponizing the courts and DOJ, DeSantis was wise

to cover his tracks.

"I agree to hold the benefactor or its designed representatives harmless of all liability arising out of or in any way relating to any injuries and damages that may occur during the agreed transport to locations outside of Texas until the final destination in Massachusetts."
Dems are professional kettles at calling the pot black.
Sok. When dems drop illegals off in the cover of darkness all over the country..
70 flights.
I’d sit this one out if I was them
According to Quora, to prove you were tricked into signing a contract,
you will generally need to prove the following: (1) a representation was made to you, (2) the representation was false, (3) the person who made the representation knew it was false or made it recklessly without knowledge of the truth, (4) the person who made the representation made it to induce you to sign the contract, and (5) you were harmed as a result.

Also,
Fraud == A false representation of a matter of fact - whether by words or by conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of what should have been disclosed - that deceives and is intended to deceive another so that the individual will act upon it to her or his legal injury.

Those brochures DeSantos gave the people sure look like physical evidence of fraud, but we'll have to wait for a court to decide.
After DeathSantis lied to them. But you're ok with that, you're just a pussy, so you can't admit it.

Wait till the demonocrats find out newsome and deblaso have been doing it for years

Ah, that makes the political stunt less cruel. That makes it a prudent use of Floridians’ taxes.
@Stargazer89 To make a spectacle out of people is degrading. DeSantis knew those affluent self-proclaimed 'privileged' people in Martha's Vineyard didn't want those immigrants there. He knows those people are uppity.
@RocktheHouse why don't you take those people into your home then??
@Stargazer89 I would. Wouldn't you if you got the chance? Why not help someone out. That's a beautiful thing.

Too bad such contracts are not valid in cases of fraud and/or trafficking
@AbbySvenz I think that's going to be up for a judge to decide.
@AbbySvenz I wonder how many of those migrants can actually read English But I see that's it's written in Spanish also so looks to me like the consent is valid, unless there is proof of coercion .

That’s what the various investigations are trying to determine. We’ll just have to wait and see @RocktheHouse

Why Texas? He sent them from Florida, didn’t he?
Carissimi · F
They went to Florida from Texas? @RocktheHouse
@Carissimi I was confused about it. I think they were flown from Texas directly to Martha's Vineyard. I'm not even sure how DeSantis got involved.
Carissimi · F
Same here. Don’t know why they left from Texas, unless they were in a bus headed for Florida, so he stepped in. That makes sense. @RocktheHouse

Sorry, sparky. Weaponizing the courts is what the Republicans tried and failed to do.
@LordShadowfire You're hilarious. Republicans stacked the Supreme Court? They put in the justices that were leaning conservative just as democrats put in justices that were leaning progressive. The SCOTUS job should be to interpret the constitution without political biased but obviously there is political bias on both sides. The courts are overstepping their authority.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@RocktheHouse Is that why the Republican majority Congress prevented Obama from appointing a Supreme Court judge for 4 years? During that entire time, we only had eight judges. All so they could wait until a Republican president took office, and they could stack the courts with a conservative majority.
@LordShadowfire That was during the lame duck session and Republicans had a majority in Senate. That follows the way it has always worked. The Supreme Court seat never gets filled when the President's opposing party controls the Senate. If Democrats had the majority during Amy Barrett's nomination, they could have stopped it also.
