I don't remember exactly and I'm not digging now. Part of the creation myth talks about critters called "sea monsters" in some translations. The theory is that they were dinosaurs and they died in the flood. I know, sea monsters doed out but regular fish lived on. Remember this is coming from biblical literalists. They think it makes sense. Anyway, since they died back in Noah's time they weren't around to grab attention and inspire people to write about them later.

But of course they're not recorded from Noah's time either and even if dinosaurs DID live alongside man but died even prior to the flood then the fossil record would reflect that.

you just don't get it, if the bible says one thing and reality says something else then its obvious reality made a mistake 🙄(🤣😂)

This is unironically more or less the stance taken by many creationists. I've encountered it first hand,

@Pikachu I know, but you gotta admire the brilliance, in a super-vilain kind of way, that they brainwashed a giant portion of humanity and that it was able to last for 2000 years and still going. its fascinating to wonder what it is exactly about this particular belief system that made it so resilient. there are many things about it which contributed to its durability, which is why it is so brilliant. one important aspect is that they managed to sell the idea that believing without seeing in itself is a spiritual act and that doubting is a sin. pure genius.

Btw unicorns died out in the flood too. There's even a song about it.

That's so true! Would there be a mention of giant monsters.

Their existence and disappearance should have been monumental.
@JimboSaturn
It seem to me that there is no way such animals could have existed alongside humans without us going absolutely nuts over them. And yet not one single mention?
