War funding or SNAP benefits? BOMBS or FOOD?

@1490wayb or they need money for rent and only have snap funds. Literally the us government does the same strategy with weapons purchases. The war hawks in congress WILL agree to more military funding tanks airplanes etc then will cancel the order and shift the money to something else usually it’s committing funds to domestic priorities to get constituents off their back then strip the funding and reappropriate them to military investments (at the 11th hour). So yeah more of the same!

@Tracos the president is still allowing military funding but eliminating at least half of food resources. Infrastructural projects are the most needed in my opinion roads are barely being repaired and it is steadily becoming necessary to develop public transportation and rail instead bombs. It is most an either or for military funding OR anything and everything else.

Truth is, the most likely scenario is that we will eradicate ourselves from this planet through destruction

@BorealPedant that’s the trend for American funding, but do you want to spend the money on bombs? I prefer to pay for food first. It’s about priorities,! eh?

@jehova I mean yeah, I think that ensuring people are fed, hosued, and safe should be the top priority of any government what the hell is the point of a society if people starve within it.

The bombs are just to make rich people richer. I don't care about that. I care about someone who can't afford to eat.
