how do you apologize to your friend for your country bombing their country

Many people's of all countries don't live and believe the same as their government. People from other countries can be friends with who they like if they wish because most empathetic and conscience-driven people have the ability to see past politics thank goodness. Make sure that both of you understand that governments don't divide your friendship.

It's not something to apologize for, but if it were me, I would just make it clear that I'm 100% against my country's actions and that I'm there for them as a friend.

You can say something like, you're worried for their safety because of recent news, and then elaborate if they seem comfortable addressing it.

Essentially you're just checking on them and their safety, identity politics aside.

You are in no way responsible for the actions of the administration,just do as you would always do and say you are worried about them in this awful time
