how do you apologize to your friend for your country bombing their country

just a few weeks ago she was worried about her exams and now we are all worried for her life

You don't apologize, it's not your fault.
If it was me I would simply check on her, and not bring it up unless she wanted to talk about it. But then again I'm pretty vocal on sm, so everyone I know already knows where I stand.
