Your post says “ gun reform ” but then you progress into confiscation and incarceration and fines. That is tyranny. You should realize that your post though not saying it aloud, is that a government that has millions of people owning ( legally) weapons, keeps many in that government awake at night. And here’s a group that could be lethal too…
besides using active military as police being illegal (posse comitatus act), doing so would be a severe violation of oath and ucmj (one that still carries the death penalty in a military court. No servicemember with half a brain would obey such an unlawful order, as they'd have to abandon the country afterwards for fear of retribution from population.

The Dems know a lot about politics. The population refuses to demand a political left, so in a way, the population deserves to be ruined by these Dems. They allow worse things to happen to others in far away places because they can't demand a political left. Fascists.
