My work internet has gone down, all that works is clicking fodder giving random facts about Switzerland. So…🇨🇭

1. Tina Turner gave up her US citizenship to become Swiss in 2013.
2. Switzerland can fit its entire population in nuclear bunkers if needed.
3. Switzerland has one of the highest qualities of life rating and the second highest GDP in the world.
4. 25% of the population aren’t Swiss.
5. The Average life expectancy is 83.4 years

And now laptop has stopped completely so that’s all folks…

It’s curious that the people replying with facts of their own, some are negative trying to bring the post down.

I suppose Americans are sore about Tina Turner giving up on the USA because she thinks Switzerland is simply the best🎶

@Castenmas in 2004 Switzerland had to repay tons of money to Jews who deposited money in their banks before WW2.
@Castenmas I’m not mad at all. I’m glad she found acclaim and personal happiness. She deserved it.

@pancakeslam We’ll we have to read all the USA crap so frequently. It makes a nice change to hear about somewhere else. Maybe we should do a different country each week.
pancakeslam · 41-45, M
@ShellSeeker I don't have as much a problem with the USA as I do hearing about our trashy celebrities. But I agree, let's pay attention to other countries. I'm all for it.

@BlueGreenGrey but those aren’t native born Swiss citizens . It’s an incredibly high standard of living. Everything is clean and runs on time. People treat each other fairly well , they have national pride . The Swiss feel vested in their nation. Many of my fellow Americans don’t feel vested in USA which is sad .
