@SW-User Your ignorance of my position on the war is only out paced by your ignorance of what started the war in the first place. Let me help you out a bit. Ukraine is a very strange and diverse country. Western Ukraine is a poorer region and it has a proud people that think of themselves as being pure while they look down on the Russians as being a mongrel people. This racism commonly held in other parts of Europe is the basis of what led to large numbers of Ukrainians joining the German Waffen SS brigades during WWII. At the end of that war 14,000 Waffen SS war criminals were exported to Canada. However that did not stamp out the basic Nazi racist beliefs in Western Ukraine and those beliefs are still commonly held. So much so that there is still a Nazi brigade in Ukraine. It is called the Azov Battalion and it is popularly supported by political forces in Ukraine. In 2014 the USA did what it does best and overthrew the duly elected government of Ukraine and installed a regime that is much more friendly to the US. That regime is controlled by Nazis. Almost immediately the Eastern part of Ukraine came under attack by the Azov Battalion. What was the sin of the East? It is prosperous and the people there are ethnic Russians. As the shells rained down on places like Donetsk the people there called for Putin to do something. He didn't and that only emboldened the Azovs and their masters in Kiev and Washington. 7 years went by as Putin tried to negotiate peace. Ever heard of Minsk ! & 2? They were peace deals that had the west honored there would be no war in the region and the people living there could be living in peace. However as France and Germany said those accords were only there to help Ukraine arm itself so it could attack Russia. Finally Russia had had enough and it attacked across a broad front including sending troops toward Kiev. Almost immediately Ukraine agreed to a peace deal and Russia withdrew. Russia was no sooner moving back than the US informed Ukraine that its peace deal with Russia was not worth the paper it was written on and Ukraine attacked the retreating Russian forces in the Eastern part of Ukraine. Russia then dug in and we have the stupid war we have where Ukraine is sending in its men and western equipment against a heavily fortified Russian army and as any modern army without aircover it is being decimated. 400,000 to 500,000 Ukrainians have either been killed of so severely injured they will never fight again. The region is so littered with Ukrainian tanks and APCs and pickup trucks that it is resembling a scrap yard. Russia sent a missile along the entire front and it struck its target which means the Ukrainian air defense has been destroyed. Russia recently blew up 3000 tons of Ukrainian ammunition. Ukraine is losing support from Poland and Slovakia and Hungary. Germany is in a deep recession and France is teetering on the edge. US and Canada and Britain are about to enter a recession as well and in the mean time Russia is doing very well economically. It has a million man army ready to move forward and having depleted all its reserves and equipment there will be nothing Ukraine can do to stop it. Russia has a radio frequency that surrendering Ukrainian soldiers can call to get help as they walk across the mine fields Russia has laid down. So far 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have used that radio.

The facts are that had the US stayed out of Ukraine there would be no war. How important is the war in Ukraine? It deposed its own president (Trump) for even asking questions about Ukraine. Sadly silly people who are Rah Rah Yankees are too clueless to grasp these facts.

Or how about the missile that killed two in Poland which again, Zelensky adamantly insisted was a Russian missile only for the Poles themselves to find it was a Ukrainian missile?

Perhaps like the Donbas which is now repeatedly shelled by Ukraine with western weapons?

The women that Patrick Lancaster interviewed that had been visibly violated by the Ukrainians? Or The Bucha massacre which needed live "corpses" to demonstrate how brutal the Russians were, that Russia itself doesn't deny but demands names and surnames of the victims which are not forthcoming?

Repeating accusations does not mean they are confirmed. I have no doubt however that harrowing shit happens in war.

@SW-User I oppose war. That doesn't make me a pacifist. Pacifism is a suicide pact. I oppose the aggressor in any war. In this case it is the US, Ukraine and NATO that are the aggressors and had the US in particular pushed Ukraine to use its Nazis to kill Ukrainians beginning in 2014....... The bad guys in this conflict is the west and Ukraine not Russia. Russia did everything it could to prevent this war but Ukraine and its American masters wanted a war. They got a war and they are losing htat war and sadly hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian lives are being lost. Such a stupid war. Shame on the US and NATO for starting it.
