We may as well ALL brace for problematic weather patterns for our foreseeable future.
That being said,Bon Temps Roullez,whenever on the calendar thing end up!
You just reminded me of this great little tune I picked up some 30 odd years ago which I dust off this time of year.A perfect homage to my 2nd favorite musical melting pot in the world.

@Degbeme It moves around with Easter because it's pre-lent debauchery.

DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
It feels so "off". But then, everything has this year.
bijouxbroussard · F
@DearAmbellina2113 That’s very true.
craig7 · 70-79, M
Easter Day can fall on any date within the 35 days between March 22 and April 25,and this year it comes in the latter part of that period,being April 20.On that basis,Mardi Gras can fall as late as March 9 - though of course February is a more "normal" time for it to occur.
bijouxbroussard · F
@craig7 Yes, I do understand why it sometimes occurs in March. It just feels a bit late when it does.
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
It's late isn't it.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Jacko1971 Yes.
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
