The Taliban has banned Afghan women from participating in any sport

They are beaten and humiliated by their own mothers if young women try to participate in any sports.
The Taliban only see women as servile objects.

Imagine if the US decided to ban all American women from participating in sport.

This was an inevitable consequence of the Wests failure to win over the population.
They were not willing to fight for their own freedoms either.
I suspect we will have to go back at some point. Hopefully at least 50% of the population will welcome us next time.

@72andy I don’t think the west/US military was ever going to win the Afghanistan population over. Afghanistan soldiers have absolutely no desire to protect themselves from the Taliban. If Allah doesn’t will it then it ain’t happening.
In comparison
Ukraine civilians are more than willing to fight to the death after only 5 weeks training from combined NATO forces.
BOTH countries have been supplied the latest NATO weapons yet Ukraine doesn’t have actual NATO troops on the ground yet they are holding their own against Russia. Where as Afghanistan people were all hanging on to the outside of US Transporters as they left Kabul.
Both the Taliban and Russian leadership are equally war mongers.
