If you could move to another country what country would be your first choice and why?

As a kid growing up in Italy, I've always wanted to move abroad.
I moved to France in 2008, went back to Italy and moved to the UK in 2013, where I currently live.
I don't want to live in Italy again.
But I'd like to live in France again. I miss it, I loved it and... now I think I'm in love with a French guy, even though I'm married...

Ireland. I'm third generation Irish and go over about five times a year as it is. Lots of family over there.

France. I already know some of the language and have a few online friends that live there.

I am under no delusion that it is perfect but it can't be any worse than how America acts.

France, warmest people I have ever met!

Canada would be first choice, followed by England, and then France. I have family in the last two, but Canada is closest if I needed to return quickly.

We like Italy.

1st choice Canada. Language, distance and some friends.
2nd choice Mexico. Language, distance and relatives.
3rd choice Germany. Language and relatives.

On A Small Isolated Island

Certain small islands in the Pacific or Caribbean may have minimal government oversight and limited access to modern technology due to their remoteness.

Mali, probably because of Timbuktu because "Timbuktu is often used as a synonym for a place that is exotic, mysterious, or very far away, to the point where many people in Western cultures mistakenly believe it to be a mythical location" - from a Google search asking if Timbuktu is a real place.

I'd love to see Ireland.

Maybe...Oz? Australia? Would they accept me? Hmmmm.
