Japan or Vietnam?

i am going to Japan next year. can't wait.

Japan has been high on the travel wish list for some time now

I spent 6 weeks in Vietnam before. it was wonderful. Id like to see Japan too but Vietnam is such a better value for money.

My daughter is going to both next year. I've been to Japan (military) and it is beautiful. Especially during cherry blossum season. Never had any desire to go to Vietnam. I lived through the POW return. Probably clouded my opinions.

Been to Vietnam. Long ass flight for sure.

Not sure if I'd want to go back even though that country is really built up since i was there last during the war.

Japan, my friend went to Vietnam and she said the food is terrifying and there are giant bugs and snakes everywhere

Japan. I like their culture and food. Also, their women. Vietnam Idk too much about. Also, I like Japan's historical landmarks.

Have been to Vietnam, courtesy of the U.S. Govt., was in Okinawa coming and going.
Would like to visit Tokyo.

I've always wanted to visit Japan. I've been interested in their culture for a long time.

Vietnam. I really would love to see Japan too, but the weather and customs sound much warmer in Vietnam.
Aoshima is a Japanese island with cats, but it lacks certain amenities and I could not stay there permanently. Otherwise I might already have gone there.

Vietnam. The food is amazing and I have a LOT of respect for them modernizing the country after "being bombed into the stone age."

Either or would be fine, I'm not a picky fella when it comes to explore the world 🌎

I'm more interested in seeing Japan first, although I'd like to see both eventually. Main reason being is that I've studied the Japanese language and know a little bit more about the culture than Vietnam.
