I'm a Christian and more than willing to be a friend but getting closer to Jesus is kind of between you and Jesus. He is alive and active in our world and in our lives.

@Diotrephes Jesus remains fully God. Paul did not start he joined. You do need to try harder. Too Funny!!!!

Jesus was and is God. He isn't of any particular religion. He did establish the Christian Church and that is enough. The old covenant under which He lived and died and rose again is obsolete and has been replaced.

Do you really hate your family as Jesus said that you should?

Remember Matthew 15:24 (ERV) = "Jesus answered, “God sent me only to the lost people of Israel.”"

@Diotrephes And Satan told Jesus to jump off the Temple since the Bible said that He would not be hurt if He did that. Jesus declined. He didn't need the proof and He wasn't about to listen to Satan. Since you represent Satan in this discussion the rest of what you wrote is pretty much nonsense. Personally I have seen miracles that can not be explained. Did I do them? Of course not. God did them in my presence.

I had no idea that you are a Jew. The biblical God only cares about Jews. He said so countless times.

@Diotrephes Again with the foolishness? Romans kind of explains that. Maybe if you actually read what it said instead of deliberately misinterpreting it.

@Diotrephes yeah, and it's sad that people still do these days
Maybe you can talk with this user.

@JesusIsWithMe Thats true.. Sad but true..

@JesusIsWithMe But the true Church is not a building it is the body of Christ in the temples of His followers.. The Holy Spirit guides them and they know His voice and follow.. 👍
YoMomma ·
And you thought SW was a good place for that eh?
JesusIsWithMe · 18-21, FNew
@YoMomma I'm not sure, but I am curious

@JesusIsWithMe Be sure to hate your family. Jesus demands it.

Matthew 10:34-38 (NKJV) ="34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set[a] a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me."

So, get to hating!!!
JesusIsWithMe · 18-21, FNew
@Diotrephes Matthew 10:34-38's core message is that following Jesus demands radical, uncompromising loyalty, creating deep division even within families, as His truth (the "sword") separates those who choose Him from those who don't, requiring believers to take up their cross and prioritize Christ above all earthly relationships, even if it brings persecution. Jesus didn't come to bring easy, worldly peace but a transformative, often divisive, confrontation with sin and worldly comfort, forcing a choice: loyalty to Him or to family/self.

@JesusIsWithMe Jesus plainly said that he had only been sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He was born the king of the Jews and died the king of the Jews. How did you get included when he plainly denied you?
