Yes it is refreshing to hear people preaching the gospel in these days when sin is so rampant, may he be blessed.
So I post about the Gospel and I have an individual saying I haven't got the job and another obsessing about nationalistic identity.
Great are the rewards of being a Christian poster 😂

@RachelLia2003 Sure. You strike me as such a great example of a Christian with all your God glorifying posts and encouragement of other Christian posters ☺

Respectfully I have to disagree, the reason being is that in the early days when a person is searching for something which we as Christians know to be Jesus, they are not ready to hear the harder messages and sometimes it can do more harm than good when a street preacher is giving out a heavy "repent or perish" message to people who do not know God. It pushes them away. I hope that these preachers pray first and ask the holy Spirit to guide them. What I know of God is that he is infinity loving, gentle and compassionate. That is the side of God I would think would be a gift to share.

@sree251 if i may offer a perspective you may be overlooking about why God would let all the violence occur around the world. ..How else are they going to get to heaven?
Maybe God knows what's waiting for them, so God allows us to carry on the way we carry on. We're at the top of the food chain. Every other species on the planet has another species keeping it in check.
Death is only tragic immediately as it occurs to most of whom who it happens to and thereafter only for those who survive. But if heaven is real, and our energy exists there in peace for eternity, when we are reunited in heaven long after our loved ones pass, no amount of time can be more than a blink when compared to eternity
It may seem cruel while we wait but keep in mind that our time is a manmade concept based on our own environment.

@PatientlyWaiting25 precisely, and about the crusades?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@sree251 what?

We DESPERATELY need more who aren't afraid to touch on Law like this. It's going to be a very sad eternal outcome if not. So many will not be able to spend eternity with Him. So many will miss out.

Did you get the job?

With apologies to @BritishFailedAesthetic if this is seeming to hijack his thread, but I'll just finish off my discussion with @sree251 which I promised to do.
It may be a cultural difference, but in the UK employers advertise jobs and those looking for work apply. Many apply for one job and part of the process of choosing a new employee is to invite people for interviews. Perfectly straightforward. I think the sense of aggression came when you said it sounded like streetwalking.
Normally, if someone told me that they had a job interview I would be delighted for them, therefore your apparent moral judgement seems very odd and perhaps aggressive. Are things very different in the States where employers just write to you and ask you to come and join?
I'm happy to take this to another post if that is more helpful.

Going for an interview for a job doesn't sound good.

@FreddieUK
I can close this diversion with a short reply. You are a Brit and I am American. Looking for a job is the last resort to make a living when you throw in the towel and give up hope of realizing your dream. I would rather be dead than go looking for a job.
