I'm trying to understand why you are chastising him over her actions and why does the congregation even know about it. Isn't that personal? That should be up to him. If he feels that its affecting his work then by all means. How is this the congregation's business?

Both should step down from their roles for a while so there is a chance for reconciliation if possible in their marriage. I would also suggest a sermon on forgiveness by one of the other leaders to remind everyone that none are good and all need forgiveness found at the Cross. In this situation the outcome could be divorce but equally if there is genuine repentance by the wife a powerful display of forgiveness in action.

That is a awkward and difficult position. I suppose the question is did the youth pastor do anything wrong, or is it "guilt by association"? While none are without sin, she should not be in any position of leadership.

The poor man’s wife is cheating on him so you want to kick him out - take his job away and turn him into the street. That’s real compassion.

Clearly there is something seriously wrong here. And it is difficult to see a way through this from afar. All we can do is pray, and hold these people in prayer.

The leadership team seems a shamble and has not got a clue what is going on, this too needs to some external support.

And as for the fellowship within the church, it simply is not there, no care. No support. How can you pray in this atmosphere.

She will get hers in Heaven but you all should be going to the church to support the pastor. He needs your support and understanding he has done nothing wrong so why punish him

As long as the Pastor was dealing with the situation in a way that is in alignment with Bible teachings then i see no reason to remove the Pastor from His positon..

It was the wife not the pastor.

The Bible tells us that he who is without seeing cast the first stone. In some shape, form, or manner everybody sins.

She should no longer come to the Church. And she should be substituted by someone.
About divorce, it depends on The Pastor if he wants to forgive her or divorce her. In any of the case, Pastor holds his ground firmly.

The pastor needs to leave the church if he is unable to live in a state of grace. How is a religious leader able to set an example to his congregation if he is incapable of leading his wife?

More so I would think, adversity makes you wise

He should just follow the American tradition.

Move a few miles away and invent a slightly different religion.
