Once we are saved we can never lose our salvation. But half (5 out of 10) are not saved even though they call Jesus Lord.

"These are those who love me, those who keep my commandments" In the story of the 10 virgins, 5 had the door shut and could not enter the wedding supper even though they "loved" the Lord. But they did not really love the Lord because they were busy focusing on this life instead of preparing for heaven. They made excuses for their sins. And Jesus illustrate this further when he says "Many will preach in my name but on that day I will say to you "I never knew you" (These are pastors in churches preaching about Jesus but are not saved because they preach the wrong Jesus. In Matthew 24 Peter asks Jesus what are the signs of the end. Jesus says "Do not be deceived, because many will come in my name saying there he is" They preach another Jesus. One sign of the end generation is deceit.

Please ask God for wisdom! God says he will give us wisdom if we truly want it. Many people do not really want the truth. The Bible is not that difficult to understand. Don't twist scriptures. Jesus tells us that a child can come to Jesus. We have to repent our sins and follow Jesus. And the evidence of salvation is crucifying the flesh. We don't get divorced if we work on our marriage. We love people, even our enemies. We forgive everyone 70x7, we tithe and want the gospel to go out, we put our lives on the line at times to share our love for Jesus, If we don't live for Jesus then we are not saved.

@ReflectionsInTime Even the Jesus character went to hell.

The good thing about the Christian hell is that it is temporary. Everyone makes bail on Judgment Day and may even gain eternal life. That is not to say that they will get into the golden cube, only that they will live forever outside the wall that surrounds the golden cube.

It seems that most people are thinking about the islamic hell when they discuss hell. In the Islamic version when you die you stay dead until Judgment Day and you get resurrected. if you are a good guy you get your own paradise, a harem, a herd of cute boys, and an eternal erection. Most of the people in the islamic hell are women but everyone in that hell is tortured severely for eternity. Whereas in the Christian version, hell is tossed into the lake of fire along with death and all of the bad people. That is the second death and the end of their existence.

These things are true and meaningful to me too, I take them to heart! Thank you for once again sharing Gods gospel to the world, people like me need it!
Why 5 out of 10? This is a parable not exact maths.

Make sure you don't emphasise works in our salvation, we are saved by grace through faith.

Good works are a fruit.

If we read God's word carefully, GOD is the one who chooses! We can't take credit for our salvation. We are dead in our sins. Read God's word.

Romans 9:13

"13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, x“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion,2 but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, ato answer back to God? bWill what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 cHas the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump done vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory"—

Here in the parable of the sower, there were 4 soils and only the good soil produced fruit. The other soils were no good. We have to produce fruit! Or we are not saved by God's grace. Faith is evidence of being saved. Fruit is evidence of God's grace.

The Parable of the Sower
13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

10 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:

“Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]

16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

The Parable of the Weeds
24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast
31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

33 He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:

“I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”[c]

The Parable of the Weeds Explained
36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

The Parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

The Parable of the Net
47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 “Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked.

“Yes,” they replied.

52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

A Prophet Without Honor
53 When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. 54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. 55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” 57 And they took offense at him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”

58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

Im not much for the bible but thats a good passage.
Carazaa · F
@exchrist Thank you so much for that!
A loving mother or father does not kick their own child out for doing wrong, permanently. The story of The Prodigal Son proves that. The father didn't disown his son, but he did let him go and learn that life is not to be wasted or thrown away like he was doing, and the father in his love, let the son go, so he could find out for himself, that the world was evil. But he didn't disown him permanently. Just as soon as the son learned his lesson, he came right back to his father, who welcomed him with open arms and celebrated. The Lord knows full well that we will mess up and because he loves us, he lets us learn our lesson, but he never ever disowns us or kicks us out of his life for good. When we come back and repent and ask for forgiveness, our heavenly father is always there to welcome us back with open arms.

"The sad thing is many "Christians" are not born again. Jesus says "Those who endure to the end will be saved"

And really pay attention to what Jesus says here below

Matthew 19
" Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

18 “Which ones?” he inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[c] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[e] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first."
@Carazaa
But sadly about 50% of all who call Jesus Lord who think they are going to heaven wont because they are not really saved, they haven't been born again. There are a lot of Jesus cults out there. I know pastors who have sinned, molested married women, killed people, committed suicide, gone to prison, etc..and they sounded so Godly, but theywere notchristians at all.
It's not up to us to decide who was saved and who was not. Only Jesus knows their hearts. You don't know that 50% of all who call Jesus Lord who think they are going to heaven, won't. That's not up to us to judge that. Jesus knows who is saved and who is not. Let's leave that up to him, but when you say this, you contridict yourself:

You said: We can not earn our salvation. God chooses who he saves and our faith is also works. We can not choose to have faith, because Jesus is clear that we are DEAD i our sins.

Of course we can't earn our salvation, but your teachings are dangerous because you take a scripture here and there, then mix it and make it twist to match and read the way you want it to read. Of course, we can't earn our salvation by works, but then you go to say that only those God chooses, is saved, but that's not what John 3:16 Says. John 3:16 says that whosoever comes to Jesus and wants to be saved, can! He doesn't rule out anybody nor turn them away. There's always room at the cross for one more. John 3:16 shows full well that people choose to come to Jesus and he promises to save them. Salvation is a choice! You're preaching predestination and you have taken that verse out of context. You can quote scripture all day long but when you mix it up to make it read the way you want it to, it will never work.

And the scriptures you quoted to me about good works only, proves that you still think you can only get to Heaven by good works, and that is not what the Bible says.
This message was deleted by the author of the main post.
Predestination never means that God chose who would be saved and who wouldn't. John 3:16 clearly states that anyone can come to him and choose to be saved. It simply means that God, being omniscient, knowing everything, naturally knew who would accept him as Savior and who would not.
So again, why would God make me the way I am, knowing what it would take for me to believe in him? It's clear that he doesn't want to provide the evidence I'm seeking.
@saintsong Yeah? Maybe you need to call him, because apparently my phone's broke.

@LordShadowfire I'm closer to Him now than I have ever been in my life....I can literally hear the Seraphim Angels singing His praises!!! Don't give up hope yet, those who draw close to God, He will draw close to them....Give it time, and patience and sincerity And believe upon His Son Jesus Christ for He truly is the way the truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father unless through Him! He is the real deal!!! Open up your heart to Him and see what He can do! God bless you, seek and you shall find! Knock and it will be opened! He really wants to know you and be known! It truly is lovely!
@saintsong Yeah, that's pretty much the same line of BS everybody else gives me.
