Once we are saved we can never lose our salvation. But half (5 out of 10) are not saved even though they call Jesus Lord.

"These are those who love me, those who keep my commandments" In the story of the 10 virgins, 5 had the door shut and could not enter the wedding supper even though they "loved" the Lord. But they did not really love the Lord because they were busy focusing on this life instead of preparing for heaven. They made excuses for their sins. And Jesus illustrate this further when he says "Many will preach in my name but on that day I will say to you "I never knew you" (These are pastors in churches preaching about Jesus but are not saved because they preach the wrong Jesus. In Matthew 24 Peter asks Jesus what are the signs of the end. Jesus says "Do not be deceived, because many will come in my name saying there he is" They preach another Jesus. One sign of the end generation is deceit.

Please ask God for wisdom! God says he will give us wisdom if we truly want it. Many people do not really want the truth. The Bible is not that difficult to understand. Don't twist scriptures. Jesus tells us that a child can come to Jesus. We have to repent our sins and follow Jesus. And the evidence of salvation is crucifying the flesh. We don't get divorced if we work on our marriage. We love people, even our enemies. We forgive everyone 70x7, we tithe and want the gospel to go out, we put our lives on the line at times to share our love for Jesus, If we don't live for Jesus then we are not saved.

A loving mother or father does not kick their own child out for doing wrong, permanently. The story of The Prodigal Son proves that. The father didn't disown his son, but he did let him go and learn that life is not to be wasted or thrown away like he was doing, and the father in his love, let the son go, so he could find out for himself, that the world was evil. But he didn't disown him permanently. Just as soon as the son learned his lesson, he came right back to his father, who welcomed him with open arms and celebrated. The Lord knows full well that we will mess up and because he loves us, he lets us learn our lesson, but he never ever disowns us or kicks us out of his life for good. When we come back and repent and ask for forgiveness, our heavenly father is always there to welcome us back with open arms.
