@Adstar The word says [c=7700B2][b]You're the righteousness of God[/b][/c] in present tense not future tense. When God looks at you he sees Christ because Christ lives in you. You are in unity with Christ and can't be separated so if you a sinner you're saying Christ is too.

No i am not saying that.. And i have never declared Jesus a sinner.. You have made this accusation twice and i have denied it twice.. Please don't make the accusation again..
Unfortunately, God's laws are VERY strict, and humans are VERY imperfect. In fact, they say that we can't even BE perfect while we are still living on this earth. So in effect, we [i]are[/i] all sinners...except for pure beautiful little babies. Jesus was actually the only perfect human being ever born.
He was born to become the lamb of God...the sacrifice of His only begotten son, that God Himself sacrificed, to pay for the entirety of all of our sins. Jesus took them all upon himself...yet...we continue to make mistakes. We can't seem to help ourselves.
BUT...we can repent. We can be genuinely sorry, and we can pray and ask Jesus to turn to His Father, God, and ask God to forgive us and allow us into heaven eventually.
The worst thing that could ever happen to a human being is for Jesus to turn to His Father on Judgement Day, and say to His Father, "I do not know him".
@TexChik But YOU are a Baptist with a brain. Whole 'nother thing. I used to be Catholic...but if you look at the Pope today, and take in the recent history of that VERY unforgiving Church, you have to wonder how they can forgive themselves. 😒

If this where strictly the case then no human being would ever become saved... God must have access to sinners to convince them of their need for His salvation.. God comes to us in the form of the Holy Spirit and moves us to a point of decision.. Are we gona go His way? or are we gona go the way of satan..

@karysma Well sinners who are saved are Children of God.. Their day to day relationship with Him may not be the best. But as His Children He is a Father to them and forgives even though He may not be pleased.. True love forgives is paitient and long suffering.. Yeah it would be best if we where all focused on loving others and doing stuff like charity all our living moments i honestly feel bad for the good things i have failed to do rather then the sins i have done.. I know the LORD has me covered for all my bad..

Selective ascribing is a mainstay idea in Christianity. Anything that goes wrong is blamed on man. Anything that goes right is said due to God. Without the concept of sin Christians would stop believing in salvation.
@SW-User But people are not only saved from sin. People are saved from types of bondages. I really never understood what the big deal was about sin when I was a baby Christian. All I knew was that God saved me from many years of depression.
