Unfortunately, God's laws are VERY strict, and humans are VERY imperfect. In fact, they say that we can't even BE perfect while we are still living on this earth. So in effect, we [i]are[/i] all sinners...except for pure beautiful little babies. Jesus was actually the only perfect human being ever born.
He was born to become the lamb of God...the sacrifice of His only begotten son, that God Himself sacrificed, to pay for the entirety of all of our sins. Jesus took them all upon himself...yet...we continue to make mistakes. We can't seem to help ourselves.
BUT...we can repent. We can be genuinely sorry, and we can pray and ask Jesus to turn to His Father, God, and ask God to forgive us and allow us into heaven eventually.
The worst thing that could ever happen to a human being is for Jesus to turn to His Father on Judgement Day, and say to His Father, "I do not know him".
@4meAndyou You do know that Jesus was actually God manifested in the flesh right. It's the reason he was blameless and worthy candidate for the sacrifice The Bible says you are dead to sin so how can you be a sinner?
@karysma people must try not to sin and acknowledge that they have sinned to be forgiven. You can’t go on a 5 state murder spree or sleep with everyone you see and think You are ok because you have already been forgiven . You have to follow the rules with your behavior , heart, and actions too, not with intentions.
@TexChik Exactly. The ex was what I call an IGNO-Baptist. (Ignorant baptist). He figured that all he had to do was get dunked and never had to do another thing in his life, and he had a free pass to heaven.
@TexChik But YOU are a Baptist with a brain. Whole 'nother thing. I used to be Catholic...but if you look at the Pope today, and take in the recent history of that VERY unforgiving Church, you have to wonder how they can forgive themselves. 😒
