Would you consider hairstylist/hairdresser a creative type job?

@Levenrack I’d differentiate between a carpenter and either an electrician or plumber. I think there’s also a “creative” difference between an average carpenter and a finish carpenter.

I think the craftsmanship of a good carpenter goes well beyond that of a hairstylist. I put it more akin to a silver/goldsmith. One simply creates from wood, the other precious metals.

That said, I don’t disagree that a hairstylist can be creative. I just don’t think it’s common.

@Adogslife Well said 👏. I didn't expect you to go that heavy there with your reply. And half expected to get called multiple horrible things, with me challenging with a "uncreative vocation" such as a plumber.

I'm sorry, Mario and Luigi fans. The closest Plumbing will get to being a creative, skill-laden occupation is... well, it will take the same material you get called to remove from the last job. 🫣
