No I do not believe in the supernatural but I accept many people report experiences that were alarming or uncanny by being hard or impossible for them to explain, at the time anyway.
I would suggest a lot of the "crediting" such an event to supernatural elements is by already believing in the supernatural, and wanting the event to "prove" that, against understanding what really happened.
Among the most common themes are the strange but momentary feelings of pressure or of falling in bed; or seeing menacing forms in a near-dark bedroom. These are all internal, common and harmless little waves of brain activity while falling asleep - the "hallucination" is a hypnagogic dream by which the menacing object is actually a familiar one distorted by the dream.
I have had instances of "falling" and of the hypnagogic dream, but not of the impression of being sat on. I have also noticed that many of my dreams are set not in the daylight that would be correct but a strange sort of deep twilight; and I think I must be dreaming with my eyes open in the real darkness. That is what the hypnagogic hallucination relies on: seeing, say, a heap of clothes on the floor as a body (as happened to me one night).
It is a curious and interesting aspect of human behaviour that so many people not only believe in "ghosts" and report being frightened by something eerie; but want the fear that bolsters their belief rather than the reassurance of mundane reality.
aliens, every star in the night sky is a sun, If everyone has 1 "Goldie Locks" planet, that means there are hundreds of thousands of poential alien species.
if there are aliens there is other kinds of life/energy.
Geeveston Tasmania, 1991. Visiting friends on farm 15 km's from town. They had a 6 month old baby. First night there was awakened at 1 am by baby crying, waited for Mother to go to baby. She did not, baby kept crying. I got up to check on baby, crying stopped, baby was asleep. Went back to bed, baby started crying again, got up again, crying stopped. Baby was asleep. Mother came into room, "What are you doing"? "Thought I heard baby cry" " Well, she's not, go back to bed" Did as instructed. Baby started crying again. Much more to this story but too long to go on.
You mean like ghosts?? No ofcourse not... Theres no such things as ghosts or spirits. Have you ever killed a fly??? Nothing happens right?? Theres no ghosts of flys flying about is there?... Its the same thing with animals and humans. when we die, nothing happens... Theres not gona be no ghosts or anything. I wish it were more than that but unfortuanlty thats how things really are.
Man will put different definitions on supernatural but there is only one definition -- supernatural means not natural to Earth, not natural to man or life on Earth. Yes I believe in the supernatural why because I have seen the supernatural.
I'm an agnostic satanist. I don't know whether they exist but it is a figure that empowers me therefore it is less relevant whether they truly exist or not since the results of my belief are real.
There is nothing superior to nature. Pretty much anything we can imagine can exist. May be not exactly as we sketch them. The right term would be 'Unusual' or 'abnormal'.
I have a relative who believes she was reincarnated. There was a point at which I started to realize that it actually made sense in an ironic sort of way, considering certain rumors about the family history.
