It was Moses, in the bullrushes.

@TheWildEcho Correct!

Nobody saved Jesus in the bullrushes. That was Moses, and Pharaoh's daughter who found him.
And I'm sure I could have survived because I would have been taught how to do that from a child on up.

I would suggest that you pick up a good Bible and read it because you are seriously confused. Your lack of knowledge will lead to an eternity of damnation.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Cloud7593 how so? The Bible is pretty clear about how to avoid eternal damnation. That is your faith in the life saving blood of Jesus Christ. God's way or God's punishment. It isn't rocket science.
Man spend way to much time trying to figure out another way, but there is no other way.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, none cometh to the Father but by Me. Seems pretty clear to me. Kind of like a light switch, on or off.
Brings up another subject that has been twisted. Gender identity. Fact even backed by science. Two genders. Male and female. Transgender is all bullshit.

I’d have no problem being a citizen of the Roman Empire.
Eat out, watch a few Christians fight lions in the arena, enjoy the fashions of the day. Lovely.

@Morvoren I actually think I would have loved living back then too. I totally feel you on this!

I don't follow this stuff, but I thought someone else was found in the bullrushes in that story.

Doesn't matter Old or New Testament, if I were around in those times, I probably would have been put to death for arguing with or going against the gov't authority. In the Old Testament, I would have been executed by the Pharaoh. In the New Testament I would have been executed by the Romans.

If I had lived in the time of Mary and Joseph, I would have been a wife and mother...as I was in my own time...and I assume I would have hated it. I didn't hate being a wife and mother in modern times, but I can't imagine trying to do it without air conditioning, with tons of flies, with no dentists and no antibiotics.

Only if I had been born into a wealthy aristocratic family.
People forget that even someone struggling on social security in modern Europe has an easy life compared to the vast bulk of people who lived in Roman times with easy access to clean water, shelter, health care. Not to mention entertainment that only kings could have until quite recently.

Um sorry But i think you have Jesus and Baby Moses mixed up.. That Egyptian washer woman saved baby Moses over 1000 years before Jesus came to earth..
And no i would probably not survive for long in those times.. Times where very hard and life was often very short in those times..
